FAQ

What is virtual reality?

Virtual reality is a virtual world that you can experience with the use of a VR headset like the HTC Vive.

How does it work?

Virtual reality tricks your brain into believing you are in a 3D world. The first way VR does this is with the stereoscopic displays that are in the headset. with a fully tracked headset and controllers you can look and move around in a virtual world.

Is it harmful to the eyes/health?

It’s no more harmful to your eyes than looking at your smartphone screen. Since you are walking around and doing physical activities its a good workout, so its healthy!

Are there any side effects?

Some people can get motion sick from when they are moving around in virtual reality. People usually acclimatize to it after a few times, and most people don’t ever get motion sick at all.

What are the uses of virtual reality?

Right now it’s mostly entertainment, like playing video games. But a lot of imaginative uses are being developed, like being able to look around in a house you’re interested in buying without actually going there. Military training, healthcare, and education are among the many things it is used for.

What if I want to stay longer than the booked period?

If there is no one else booked after you, you can request extra time for additional cost.

Is there anything I need to bring to play?

– Socks must be worn in the play area
– A signed waiver

Is the equipment clean?

Of course, the headsets, and controllers are cleaned after every use with antibacterial wipes to prevent the spread of germs and to keep everything clean for everyone to use. Socks must be worn while in the play area, and hand sanitizer is used before game play starts.
